As a freelance photographer working without an editing commission or being on the event circuit full time, i’m always so honoured and excited when a press card lands through the letterbox. From the first one I opened back in 2012 for a photographic internship with Hickstead, to confirmation for attending the FEI European Pony Championships in 2018 and now accredited to photograph at Badminton this year, the excitement never fades.

Badminton will be my first major three day eventing competition, to photograph and attend. I am incredibly excited to be close up to the action and I absolutely love the buzz of working as press at events. I will be attending as a freelance photographer, meaning my images will be available for media outlets and sponsors to license plus I have the flexibility to be commissioned for specific shots or coverage, such as the trot up for clothing brands.

I am incredibly excited looking ahead to Badminton and can’t wait to catch up with contacts in the press room, watch some world class equestrian sport and make the most of an incredibly opportunity to photograph the action.
