Beautiful Portraits With Purpose In Mind

STUD PHOTOGRAPHY

A lot of time, care and attention goes into producing your horses. Whilst successful marketing does not hinge on professional photos, poor photography can undermine your horses quality and your efforts. With portraits that are clear, flattering and eye-catching, you give your horse the best chance of drawing the right attention. Images are licensed to use across all business materials and online platforms so you can promote your horse with confidence.

Testimonials

A KIND WORD FROM . . .

Jill, Southern Cross Stud

"A huge amount of time, energy, emotion and money goes into producing the horses that we do, so to have them reflected in the best possible light is invaluable to us, something Lotte fully understands."

Robyn, Silvabak Stud

Lotte first photographed my horses back in 2015, after receiving the images and being super pleased with what she had created I started booking regular shoots as I felt she captured the horses in an incredible way, not only does she take great photos but she captures something special every time, captures a horses thoughts and somehow manages to photograph a horses soul.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I prepare my stallion for his studcard photos?

Just as you would for a show. You want him looking his best. Make sure he is bathed, plaited and immaculately presented. Ideally turned out in a bridle, with a simple bit.

How do you photograph foals?

Having a couple of assistants during foal shoots is really helpful. With someone holding/leading the dam, the foal is sure to follow. Even loose in the field, having hold of the dam gives us control as to where the foal may run and play. We only encourage activity for a short period of time as foals tire quickly and we never push them to ‘perform’.
